The Guardians' Corps

In the future, as faster-than-light travel technology neared perfection, humanity left behind an Earth riddled with devastation and settled on its new home planet, Aotenas. Needing vast resources for the technologies of a new age, yet determined to protect Aotenas’s ecosystem, humanity united and turned its new wars toward the cosmos. After years of warfare, a small number of humans underwent powerful mutations. Offering them generous rewards, the Empire brought these mutants together into a formidable force: the Guardians. Decades later, one Guardian unexpectedly returned to Earth, where he encountered a young man. And so it all began.
