I heard halfway through watching that the male protagonist died. I watched the finale until the very end. I was really dead, so I stopped watching and gave up. The introduction had already said that the male protagonist would die, so we wouldn't have wasted so much time.

To be honest, I've seen 80% of it now, and I kind of want to give up on the story. It's not that the writing is not good, it's that the plot is so impersonal.
