Miss Assassin, Are You Married?

The splendid feast of mortal life has finally ended; a year in a dreamlike world has vanished like a dream within a dream. Five dragons, bearing their sorrow, chase the receding waves; I lean against the clouds and sit alone in an empty forest. One sword cleaves through the boundless earth. Where can music and song be found to drown out the loneliness? The heroes of old lie alone in graves thousands of miles away; better to live freely and find joy in a long life. Since that farewell, we have never met again. We should have stayed by each other's side, but I let down your sincere heart. Now, after weathering life's uncertainties, its partings and reunions, I have ended up alone. Though I can find contentment by myself, loneliness is my constant companion. You gave your soul to the four seas for the sake of who I once was. Now I'll search the Three Realms for you, determined to find you and spend our precious years together, even if we are “wasting” them... “Awake now? Aren't you going to look for her?” “No. Please return this to her for me, sister-in-law, and tell her I'm doing well.”
