Jotun Kulle once had a great dream.
He wanted to lock the Three Prime Evils and Tyrael together in a little room for a game of mahjong.
So, after sealing away the Three Prime Evils, Jotun Kulle returned to the library beneath the Desolate Sands and devoted himself to creating a soulstone capable of sealing angels.
But he never expected to be betrayed by his friends, causing his plans to be exposed.
The Horadrim cultists sent an assassin to kill Jotun Kulle. To prevent him from being resurrected, they buried his blood and body parts in different places across Kehjistan.
Jotun Kulle refused to accept defeat. Using the soulstone's power to distort space and time, he sent part of his creation into an unknown plane.
And he believed that it was not over yet, for the resonance between the soulstone and the Worldstone would eventually bring his creation back to Sanctuary.
