The Dark Red Sky

An Earthling colony ship lands on a planet called Talos. After 150 years of growth and development, the colony reaches its peak. But every rise must be followed by a fall: the united government eventually splinters into several factions, and the planet moves toward ruin through alternating periods of war and peace. An ordinary special forces soldier unwittingly becomes the chief cause of the planet’s accelerated demise.
