This parallel world is home to four great nations: the Human Kingdom, inhabited by humans; the Beast Kingdom, inhabited by beastfolk; the Corpse Kingdom, inhabited by the terrifying corpse clan; and the Demon Kingdom, inhabited by fairies. Countless smaller nations, towns, and villages also dot the land.
The Human Kingdom must forge stronger weapons to defend itself. When boys and girls turn eighteen, they must take the Hunter-Weapon Master exam. Those who fail can only become commoners, serving the nation by supplying food or working as medical staff.
