Five centuries ago, Earth went to war with the human colonies scattered across the solar system.
The colonial worlds were almost completely destroyed. Enraged and humiliated, their leader activated a wormhole centrifuge, transporting a planet from tens of thousands of light-years away into the solar system to collide with Earth and shatter it completely.
But a miscalculation in the wormhole formula caused the new planet to merge with the solar system instead.
On this new world, Superbody Star, lived humans with supernatural powers, known as Superhumans.
Humanity was in a golden age. The first blending of technology and superhuman abilities brought people on both Earth and Superbody Star an unprecedented sense of fulfillment.
But another group had appeared in the solar system.
They committed every kind of evil and robbed everyone of everything.
They called themselves the Heavenly Lament.
