On the Edge of Doomsday

A good book is a good book, but the plot is too incoherent. Under normal circumstances, should the magic armor matrix invented by Allen be used to amplify Allen's role, and then Allen enters the Paradise Planet, discovers precious mineral deposits, builds his own power, and then improves his strength, and finally returns to the human world with power and strength that attracts the attention and surprise of the world? ? Would it be better to write it this way? ? ? I feel like everything I wrote above is pretty good and I can understand it, right from when Alan was betrayed and discovered by Edward Star to be the Son of Twilight, and then like a bereaved dog, he was coerced, hunted, and forced to flee to Alaska. From here, it feels like there is a big gap. The foundations laid before on Paradise Planet and on Earth are gone. It feels like those hard-laid foundations and connections suddenly become irrelevant and dispensable. I originally imagined that I would dig a hole so that Edward Star could discover that the Pirate King is the Son of Twilight and let the Pirate King take the blame for Allen. I didn't expect that Allen would go to Alaska directly. I really can't watch it from here. It's a pity that I have subscribed to it all. Bite the bullet and read on! ! !

Aren't you born with memories?

I used to be able to fight Major General at level 19, but now I'm at level 6, bro.

First of all, the setting is quite good, and the combat power in the later period is not particularly broken. It can be seen that the author still has an outline, not just what he thinks when he writes. In terms of plot context: The first stage of landing in Babylon, joining the family and dealing with some nobles is quite detailed, and the author seems to have some skills. After that, the protagonist was tempered in the interstellar battlefield and it was pretty good, but the problem of procrastination began to emerge. The second phase of colonizing aliens gave me a sense of déjà vu as if I were watching a historical time-travel novel with a dimensionality reduction attack. I can only say that it is watchable, but it is really not exciting. However, the Eden War in it is not bad, and it goes further with the two heroines (if you think about it, there are actually three, and in fact, five of them have appeared in this plot...). Then he returned to colonize Paradise Star, which was really boring. In the third stage, his identity is exposed, he is protected and hunted, he goes to Agares to deal with the Supreme, and unlocks the secret, starting to enter the main plot. How to say this paragraph? Because it starts to explain the outline and various secrets, I still have curiosity to read on. The final battle and the closing explanations of important characters are fairly comprehensive. Let me talk about my obvious perceived flaws: 1. The middle period is too slow, and many plots are too watery, especially focusing on colonization and the management of the Shadow Empire. I feel that deleting three to four hundred chapters is not a big problem. For many chapters, I extracted keywords. One chapter passed in fifteen seconds, and the density of important information was not high. 2. As a harem novel, there is an obvious poisonous point here in my opinion about "giving away a daughter". I am talking about Ruola. Mentally, the article describes that the two of them had some flirtations and ambiguous liking; physically, the two also had a passionate tongue kiss, and they were just short of the last step to actually have a relationship. As a result, such a female character was first given a plot in which she was almost overstepped by her nephew, and then the author seemed to deliberately tell a story of regret, or Bai Yueguang's philosophy of life that they couldn't get together, to forcefully separate the two. As a result, Ruola also married the Marquis's son, and they lived a loving life and had children. I don't see any plot impact if Ruola doesn't marry him and follows the protagonist. In my opinion, this paragraph was mishandled by the author and even a bit willful (or perhaps it was just to fulfill a rather bizarre agreement made by Count Aubin). 3. I personally don't like civil wars. There are many plots of a group of creatures fighting for ethereal power, scheming and plotting, and finally backfire on themselves, sacrificing innocent people to achieve dishonorable goals. This is a purely personal sentiment, and it's up to the individual to judge for themselves. Finally, let's talk about the heroines: Lucy: The description of the princess, Bai Yueguang, is okay, with both jealousy and tenacity. Except for the fact that the author never wanted to let her truly become a woman, and instead let other heroines take the lead, I was dissatisfied with it, but I was quite satisfied. Catherine: I just love this cold face style. Probably because it's in my strike zone, except for the lack of plot, I gave it good reviews. This kind of one that is cool on the outside and warm on the inside looks best. Xia Gelin: The prophet, I feel it is purely for the advancement of the plot, and it is arranged to add a noble person with a desire to conquer. If it were replaced by Vera, I would be more emotional. Laura: To be honest, I didn't like it at first. The encounter was a battlefield, the appearance was still "wild and beautiful", and the first union was still in the confusion of the protagonist. There are a lot of descriptions in the back, and she is straightforward, tolerant and playful, and has a very distinct character. However, in the end, she did not mention her going back to see the sister of the same race. The author must have forgotten. Elise: From Paradise Star, the eldest lady and grand duke, the most inexplicable one. I'm fine personally, with no merit in the plot, but compared with the previous Ruola, it's very... You don't have much plot description or interaction between the protagonists. Why did the two of them fall in love when they finally opened up their hearts, and Lucy and Laura assisted. Ruola was arranged in an uncomfortable plot and made each other pass by. Adele: There was a scene where she was almost humiliated and had a very poor viewing experience. As a famous aristocrat, you are suppressed by an ordinary aristocratic family. You still have a relationship like Horn. This plot does not make sense. The author is purely a product of emotion. I quite like the character description, but in reality I still forget about this awkward personality. Windsor Bello: Mr. Marshal, it's hard not to accept such a character as a harem novel. However, the author failed to do a good job in actual operation. From the ambiguous atmosphere at the beginning, teasing the protagonist several times, and specifically describing the beauty of the body, it can be seen that the author intended to make her one of the harem. However, as the finale approached, I realized that there was no role for her. The author also urgently arranged a plot where Catherine and the protagonist went on an adventure together because of Catherine's illness. He tried to show that the two people had feelings for each other, but he used too much force. Anyway, I felt that the progress was abrupt and the impression was not good. In the end, the author of the wedding probably felt that being a wife was almost boring, so he wrote an open ending. But aside from the emotional scenes with the protagonist, the character is still quite good. She is greedy for money, a soldier, bold, interesting, and a teacher. The character is quite three-dimensional. I love such a big sister who likes to tease.

The overall plot is actually okay, but there are really too many poisonous points. The first is age. A bunch of noble children start drinking, having sex, and messing around at the age of 10, 11, and 2, and then go to the battlefield. They are generals at 17 years old and marshals at 20 years old, and they are still respected by the whole army. Let's just say that Yuanli has great talent without shortcuts. Doesn't it mean that the older you get, the stronger you become? It's not so inconsistent to write someone in his 30s. Then interstellar civilization has become interstellar. It feels like communication equipment is not widespread. The protagonist got separated from other people on the dark street and didn't even have a phone call. On the battlefield, the 500-kilometer range reconnaissance of the interstellar era base requires infantry to investigate little by little. The opponent has no air power, no reconnaissance ships, not even a drone, etc. I am speechless.

Has many elements of Lords of Night and Sin City

Well, I also had a fight with my grandfather.

It's childish and terrifying. An interstellar colonial civilization sends a hundred and eighty people to conquer an alien planet?

Isn't the first task of a secret guard to follow the person he protects at all times? He was attracted by the slightest hint of ignorance. Is he too amateur or too willful to not take the person he protects seriously?
