On his first date, Xiao Zhenyu risks his life to escape, but unfamiliar with the way, he falls off a cliff. He survives and follows a stream in search of a way out, only to tumble into an ancient tomb. There, he unexpectedly receives the teachings of the lingering soul of Liu Bowen, the Ming dynasty's Imperial Preceptor, and obtains the Ghost Seal. But this cursed seal can only gradually have its lock undone with a virgin's first blood. To make the Ghost Seal even more powerful, the hapless Xiao Zhenyu has no choice but to move among women of all kinds, from different backgrounds and with different appearances.
The Ghost Seal's emergence also stirs the nerves of a vast organization: the Maoshan Taoists. Famous for exorcising ghosts, these Taoists are in fact part of an enormous organization that was originally formed to deal with anyone who possessed the Ghost Seal. They covet its immense power and bring Xiao Zhenyu endless trouble.
