Legend has it that when the Holy Ancestor created the world, he made a heavenly pearl and split it in two: the Destroyer Pearl would end the world, while the Life Pearl would save it. They gave birth to and opposed each other. In a former life, he was Tu Mi, the Demon Lord who held the Life Pearl and sought to rule the world. She was Ni Yunqian, a mortal woman who held the Destroyer Pearl and defended the righteous path. To reunite the heavenly pearl, Tu Mi fought Wanshou Mountain, master of the Nine Palaces and champion of the righteous path. Ni Yunqian tried to stop the world’s destruction, damaging the heavenly pearl and destroying her own soul. In this life, he is Li An, an ancient demon and the new ruler of the Demon Realm, desperately searching for that wisp of her soul from long ago. At last, on a bright and sunny morning, he encounters a familiar-looking figure: Shan Jiuyue. After all they have endured, can they find each other again in this life?
A bond between two lives, begun by the heavenly pearl; a stirring song of turmoil that winds through nine turns.
