A swordsman falls in love with the fourth princess of the Eastern Sea.
His sect is slaughtered by the Grand Tutor, and as he flees, she secretly protects him while driving away the string of beauties who cross his path.
To save him, she feeds him the dragon pearl from within her body and steals the Book of Life and Death, losing her soul on the Dragon-Slaying Platform. On the day the Grand Tutor is executed, he follows her into death.
She learns that he was reincarnated before her in the wilds, a world teeming with demons and monsters. Unable to grow old together in this life, she secretly pours away the Meng Po soup on the Bridge of Helplessness, preserving her memories... To find her husband from her past life, she searches across the wilds. He has long forgotten his previous life, but saves her while slaying demons and monsters. When she learns that he is the husband she loved in her past life, she will use every trick in the book to make him fall in love with her.
