She was only a green fish, but disaster struck. Entangled in weeds and hunted by a white cat, she was on the brink of death when an immortal happened to pass by and save her. From then on, she shed her fish body and reincarnated as an immortal, all so she could stand by his side!
But the immortal violated the laws of heaven and was cast into the mortal world as a human. She abandoned everything to follow him, reincarnating into the mortal realm to love him for one lifetime. Yet the laws of heaven would not allow it. She was forced back into her original form, had ten of her scales ripped away, and was imprisoned for three years. A day in heaven is a year on earth. In the blink of an eye, a thousand years passed. She broke free from the ice, all for the sake of finding him...

To be honest, I’m not especially fond of the direction Fish Immortal has taken. Readers who have followed it from the beginning may know that it has been revised again and again. The story wasn’t supposed to unfold this way, but somehow it did. Sigh, in short, it’s strayed quite far from the original plan. Still, once Fish Immortal is finished, I’ll start a new book based on it and rework the story. I don’t want the story of Jingruo to end up being something I wrote for my readers instead of for myself. Kisses, love you all~
