What is a god? What is a demon?
In the distant past, when heaven and earth first emerged...
When Martin Luther in the West split the Protestant Church, when the Five Hundred Arhats wrote the eternal Mahayana tradition with their lives, when the moon-devouring Heavenly Wolf sounded the overture to the Twilight of the Gods. Hidden within the vast Upper Realm, a shocking conspiracy spanning the ages gradually comes to light. Who will defy heaven?
This is the story of an innocent boy, with a touch of cunning and a measure of determination, who shoulders a mountain of burdens and embarks on a road of no return.
