The Fall of Song

Future generations cannot blame those who came before us, and those who come after us cannot blame future generations! It is a huge mistake to blame the Tang Dynasty for the loss of Youyun Sixteen States. In history, each dynasty initially occupied a small territory after its demise. The unification of the country was the responsibility of the country that established the dynasty. If the Song Dynasty's military power was not good enough, it should be blamed on the previous dynasty. Why was Zhu Yuanzhang able to capture the Sixteenth Prefecture of Youyun? Was the Yuan Dynasty very weak? Use an analogy to prove that the Eastern Jin Dynasty (the Western Jin Dynasty and the Eastern Jin Dynasty were called Jin at the time, and later generations were divided into East and West for easy distinction). Is it only the Han Dynasty that is responsible for the absence of the Northern and Western Regions? Is it the fault of the Jin Dynasty that the Sui Dynasty did not have the northern part of the Korean Peninsula? Only today's people would think that the Song Dynasty would blame the Tang Dynasty for the loss of the Sixteen Youyun Prefectures. He is incapable of using force and can only find excuses to avoid his mistakes. The Song Dynasty not only failed to regain the Sixteen Youyun Prefectures, but also gave up the Annan area that was ruled by the Central Plains the year before. Although Jinghai Jiedushi was freed from the control of the Southern Han Dynasty at that time, the core has always been the Central Plains Dynasty. If he is not strong enough in terms of force, he will only look for excuses to comfort himself, thinking that in the early stages of the other great unification dynasties, they would only be isolated and then take over the world. However, Zhao and Song usurped the Later Zhou Dynasty, which threatened the world with force, and still could not unify the world. They could only blame themselves for being too useless. How could they blame the Tang Dynasty!

Why do you feel so messed up?
