Venerable Dao of the Ruined Ruins

Twenty years ago, the Desolation Ancient Ruins faced a calamity, and the Nine Provinces were on the brink of destruction. Su Yanchen, unaffiliated with any sect, entered the ruins alone. He used his own Dao foundation as a lock and exhausted his cultivation to seal the world-ending calamity that came once every three thousand years, winning the world twenty years of peace.

But during the twenty years he lay gravely wounded and unconscious in the ruins, the nine top immortal sects feared his power to suppress the ruins and coveted the Dao laws he had left behind. They joined forces to rewrite history and fabricate charges, branding the hero who saved the world a demon who coveted the ruins' power and sought to plunge the world into chaos. They divided up the essence of his Dao seal and secured their place at the pinnacle of the righteous path.

When Su Yanchen emerges from the ruins with a shattered Dao foundation and a ruined body, he is met not with gratitude, but with the world's condemnation, the betrayal of old allies, and a relentless pursuit by the nine immortal sects, determined to stamp him out for good.

Everyone believes the one who returned is merely a broken man clinging to life. They do not know that within his ruined body lies the Dao Venerable who once held back the calamity alone.

No System, no rebirth. Only the insight he gained through twenty years of desperate survival in the ruins, a lost ancient method for suppressing them, and a mind that sees through people and plots the world like a chessboard.

If the people of this world have betrayed me, then I will tear away the righteous path's hypocritical mask, settle accounts with every ingrate, uncover the hidden truth behind the calamity, and use my broken Dao to reshape the world.
