The Imperial Cat's Expedition West

After the first-person narrator, “I” (Xuetuan, a white cat), and four stray cats are crushed to death by a car, they transmigrate to the grasslands and accompany Genghis Khan on his westward expedition into Europe. Human by day and cat by night, the night cat repeatedly performs remarkable feats. Amid a mix of heartwarming and heartbreaking love and hatred, they forge ties with a gray wolf, ministers, and ordinary people. They live through battles and upheavals including the Golden Sands Incident, the Blood of Kalka, the siege of Kiev, and the Spring on the Danube, before reaching a happy ending.
