Great Ming: Yongle's Youngest Son, Zhu Di Forces Me to Become Emperor

Xu Tianci transmigrated to the Yongle era of the Great Ming. At first, all he wanted was to go into business and live as a wealthy man. But then his birth parents came looking for him, and he discovered they were none other than Emperor Yongle and the empress, hiding their identities.

Xu Tianci wanted an official post, so Zhu Di gave him the rank of a thousand-household commander in the Embroidered Uniform Guard and put him in charge of the northern district.

Xu Tianci wanted to do business, so Zhu Di gave him money, land, and manpower outright.

Relying on his position in the Embroidered Uniform Guard, Xu Tianci cowed the northern district's local bullies, found the Jianwen Emperor, and formed a fleet and merchant convoy for the Embroidered Uniform Guard to sail west with Zheng He.

He also captured members of the White Lotus sect, arrested corrupt officials, and overhauled the Grand Canal's shipping system.

With the money he earned from business, Xu Tianci helped Zhu Di raise funds for the northern campaigns and the relocation of the capital.

He also used that money to cultivate a group of scientific talents, who invented technological marvels such as the sewing machine and the alcohol-fueled steam engine.

By the time Xu Tianci's power reached the heavens and his wealth rivaled that of a nation,

Zhu Di revealed his identity and pointed to the Dragon Throne. "Tianci, this throne will be yours one day."
