Gu Beichen, the seventh prince of Great Qian, has a wronged mother, his martial arts crippled, and is exiled to the northern frontier of Beiliang to await his death.
Everyone thinks he is a useless young lord who won't survive three episodes, until 300,000 Northern Di cavalry launch a nighttime raid on the frontier.
Cornered, he draws his blade and slaughters a hundred horsemen alone, shocking the entire army!
He executes corrupt officials, seizes military power, and leads 3,000 light cavalry to burn the royal camp!
Facing the underhanded attacks of the crown prince and the great families in the capital, he draws his sword with a cold laugh. "I kill in Beiliang, and I'll kill just the same in the capital!"
A thousand miles of slaughter on the frontier, and peril at every step in the halls of power.
Since you won't let me live, then I'll rebel and take this Great Qian for myself!
He wins the heart of a divine spearwoman's daughter, takes in the scheming chancellor's heiress, subdues the wild grassland empress, and joins forces with a queen of intelligence whose wealth rivals a nation...
With iron hooves and golden spears, his ambition sweeps across the land. In the struggle for power, he looks down on all beneath heaven!
Watch as a battle-hardened soldier storms the imperial city, claims the throne, and takes the realm and its beauties all for himself!
