In his previous life, Lu Jin was a sword genius at the Hollow Void Realm. As he underwent tribulation, his close friend Mo Canglan and his beloved Su Wan betrayed him together, stealing his Dao foundation and killing him.
Reborn in his youth, he returned to a time when his spiritual roots were sealed and he was mocked as a good-for-nothing by everyone in a collateral branch of the Lu clan. Fortunately, the remnant soul of the Venerable Dao of Silence came to his aid. His companion broken sword could devour the Dao and swallow all things, shattering every constraint.
The clansmen who once humiliated him, the enemies who betrayed him: this time, Lu Jin returned with his sword and showed no mercy. With his broken sword, he devoured the Dao, cut down hypocrisy, and crushed schemes that stretched across the heavens. His path of the sword began anew. This time, he would no longer trust people's hearts. With only the sword in his hand, he would defy the heavens and ascend once more to the peak of the Immortal Emperor!
