Luo Qiong was the rare swordsmanship prodigy of the Luo family of Qingyang Commandery, born with a superior sword bone. He entered the Tempered Edge Realm at a young age and was hailed by all as a future Sword Venerable.
But the human heart is hard to fathom. His cousin Luo Cang was consumed by jealousy and conspired with a wicked cultivator to set up a sword-sealing formation. While Luo Qiong was in seclusion, Luo Cang personally carved out his superior sword bone, then abandoned him, gravely wounded and near death, in a desolate ancient sword mound. To the outside world, he claimed Luo Qiong had practiced demonic arts and destroyed his own foundation.
As Luo Qiong lay dying, blood awakened the ancient Sword Soul Jade in his chest. The remnant soul of the primordial Sword Venerable, asleep for countless ages, awoke and revealed a shocking secret: a rare **hidden sword bone** lay within Luo Qiong. The superior sword bone that had been taken from him was nothing but a shackle holding him back.
The remnant soul taught him the incomplete supreme sword art, Profound Sword Art of the Great Dao. A sword could slay enemies, but it could also uphold the Way. Yet on the path of cultivation, the sword-heart demon lurked like a shadow. One careless thought could turn him into a mindless sword puppet.
Reborn from the sword mound, Luo Qiong hid in the shadows and honed his sword heart as he crossed a mortal world steeped in blood and hatred. He joined the Profound Sword Sect, braved the Myriad Ages Sword Platform, ventured deep into the Myriad Ages Sword Ruins, and uncovered the long-buried truth of the ancient sword war.
When the ancient seals shattered and countless sword puppets emerged, the myriad heavens fell into catastrophe. Luo Qiong pressed on with sword in hand, confronting his inner demon and discerning the true meaning of the sword path.
The sword is not only for killing. It can also protect all living beings.
He ascended the Profound Sword Heaven, challenged the primordial sword, and proved the Great Dao with one strike. The Profound Sword shattered the myriad heavens!
