Yin Wujiu, known throughout the martial world as the "Bloodhand Butcher," was the leader of the Demon Cult. After a lifetime of scheming and treachery, he'd finally saved enough to retire. He bought a house in Jiangnan, got a cat, and planned to enjoy his old age with wine and flowers.
Then the System showed up.
[Reach Wudang Mountain within three days, defeat the sect leader, and seize the title of "Leader of the Righteous Path."]
Yin Wujiu: "I'm from the Demon Cult."
System: [Identity mismatch detected. Adjusting difficulty... Adjustment complete. New mission: Defeat the Wudang sect leader and make him willingly acknowledge you as his father.]
Yin Wujiu: "???"
With knockout powder and itching powder in his pockets, this former Demon Cult schemer was forced onto a "righteous path" unlike any other.
But things weren't so simple. There was more than one System, more than one Host, and the organization manipulating everything from behind the scenes was called "Zhi." The head of Zhi was his junior fellow disciple, who had gone missing forty years ago. Even more absurdly, his junior wanted to take over his body, because the System was draining his lifespan, leaving him only three months to live.
More than anything, Yin Wujiu feared death. Yet everyone wanted him dead.
Well, then, they couldn't blame the old schemer for fighting back.
