Rule Horror: Don't Follow Its Rules

[BG + HE + Infinite-Flow]

At midnight, at Room 404, Building 3, Xingfuli, a wedding without a groom awaits your arrival.

Female detective Lin Xizhao receives a strange wedding invitation. Three days later, her boyfriend Chen Mo and three other people vanish from the same building. The surveillance footage shows the hallway lights turning on floor by floor, then going dark, as if something is there to welcome them.

She sneaks in against regulations. In the bridal chamber on the fourth floor, four photographs hang on the wall. The people are gone, leaving only their clothes. One of the garments is Chen Mo's windbreaker. A faceless bride approaches with a cup of black tea. Beneath her veil, a mouth full of teeth splits open: "Drink your tea, groom."

Lin Xizhao smiles. "I'm a woman. Your rules don't apply to me."

Before the words have left her mouth, red-clad ghostly figures pour out of every floor of the building. Then Chen Mo crawls out from beneath the bed, clutching a Republic of China-era diary. He says only three words: "I know."

A sixty-year-old ghost marriage curse, seven crime scenes, a runaway groom, and a vengeful spirit who blamed the wrong person. When supernatural rules collide with criminal investigation logic, and an ancient nursery rhyme becomes a death warning, she must burn the marriage contract before 12:37 a.m.

"Don't play by its rules." This is her only chance of winning.
