To a Midsummer That Never Shattered

Title: A Summer That Never Shattered

Synopsis

Shen Nian returns with the painful memories of her past life, just before a crisis hits the West City project.

The businessman Gu Mingcheng has carefully laid out his scheme, hoping to make a fortune from the construction project by bidding through a third party and substituting inferior materials. His girlfriend is Lin Wei, Shen Nian's closest roommate. On one side is the desperate advice of an old friend; on the other is the project's bottom line, one that concerns countless people's safety.

Amid the undercurrents of this struggle, Lu Shiyan, the risk control director, joins forces with her. Together, they set safeguards at every turn and see through their opponent's traps again and again.

Documents pile up as they face off, while the evening breeze conceals a budding affection.

When the turmoil of midsummer finally settles, she has prevented tragedy, stayed true to herself, and met someone who can walk the road ahead with her.
