Abandoned by his family, the young Lu Xiuwen is the last surviving descendant of the Lu family, drifting alone through the martial world. Along the way, several girls approach him of their own accord. They protect him, but they also deceive and use him.
Then, at the brink of life and death, the girls suddenly change their minds, unexpectedly awakening the heaven-defying power hidden within Lu Xiuwen. They shield him with their lives, pledge themselves to him, and even risk their lives in battle.
After awakening, Lu Xiuwen bursts onto the scene, cutting down his foes as he sets out to uncover the mystery behind his origins. The group travels across the martial world, seeking answers at every turn. The girls first approached him with ulterior motives, but as they journey together, genuine affection and love begin to grow. Their feelings for him become entangled: one uses her strength to shield him from danger, another tenderly watches over him, while a third keeps him close in her own way.
