Support prodigy Lu Ji is kicked out of the S-rank team Covenant, just because, after reaching the summit, his teammates decide he's a "useless leech." When he's at his lowest, magic student Alice and her best friend Mia find him in a park, and their new team, Homeward Bound, is born.
The once-mocked good-for-nothing has healing with no cooldown and buffs that grow stronger with every level. He easily hunts down monsters, stunning his teammates, and rises to the top while face-slapping his former team. Then war breaks out and monsters run rampant. The legendary Demon Dragon can wipe out a town with a single breath. Ji is determined to build a double-S team, explore secret realms, and break through level 999, all to slay the dragon, liberate the continent, and give humanity a chance to survive.
