He Broke My Wings with His Own Hands and Begged Me to Fly High

He once broke my wings with his own hands and dragged me from the clouds into the mire. For the sake of his imperial power, he bestowed upon me the entire Shen family and imprisoned me in the cold palace, where I pretended to be crazy and acted like a fool, and suffered all the humiliation. He thought that from now on I could only be a useless person who could be trampled on by others. But he forgot that the one whose wings were broken was Shen Yunwan, who once had eyes for him; and the one who survived in the quagmire was the commander-in-chief of the three northwest armies. After half a year of dormancy, I stepped out of the cold palace, reunited with the Shen family cavalry, and became the king of the northwest that he could not reach. Later, when the Beidi army came to the city, he had no one to help him. He sat high in the Jinluan Palace, begging me with red eyes to turn back, to fly high, and to use the lives of Shen's army to protect his country. I picked up the knife and mounted my horse, looked at him coldly, and said one word at a time: "Your Majesty, what you want is an obedient chess piece, and now I am a mountain you can never cross." He broke my wings with his own hands, why do you think I will still fly for him?
