In the third year of the Great Calamity, spiritual qi revival began. Mythical beasts from the Classic of Mountains and Seas crawled out of cracks in the earth, and humanity retreated to fortified cities.
Shen Zhuo fell into a fissure, and his blood dripped onto the remains of a Kui Ox. The Classic of Mountains and Seas awakened.
Borrow the Kui Ox's power, and shatter the innards of an iron-armored boar with one kick. The price: three years of your life.
Borrow Qiongqi's power, and grow wings on your back, with barbed hooks piercing your chest. The price: your beastly instincts devour your heart.
His younger sister, Shen Xiaoman, has the seventh uncontaminated bloodline. The Zhao family plans to sacrifice her to the second gate of the Heavenly Vault.
Standing at the stronghold's gates, covered in blood, Shen Zhuo says, "You think you have the right to lay a hand on my sister's life?"
In this life, he will wield the power of the Four Fiends and cut down every injustice beneath the heavens.
