"Ji Song" is a long historical time-travel novel starting from the death of Yashan in the Southern Song Dynasty. The book has a total of twelve volumes and about 450 chapters. The story begins with the Battle of Yashan after the Deyou Rebellion: Wu Tao, a history graduate from a university, mysteriously traveled through time on the night when he was completing his graduation thesis defense. When he opened his eyes, he fell into a bloody sea of ​​​​Yashan with more than 100,000 corpses floating on it. He rescued Zhao Bing, the young emperor of the Song Dynasty who was supposed to die for his country by crossing the sea with Lu Xiufu. He used an unknown child's corpse to reproduce the historical illusion of "the prime minister crossing the sea in despair of the emperor" and deceived the Yuan army who searched and killed the clan. From then on, he took the eight-year-old child to a deserted island. The novel does not regard "restoring the country and becoming emperor" as the exciting point, but focuses on "how an emperor whose death is destined in history and a modern man who knows the outcome can keep his roots in a desperate situation." Wu Tao forced Zhao Bing to strip off his dragon robe and become a fishing boy named "Ah Bing" incognito, teaching him how to touch snails, mend nets, cut fish, and survive. With the support of the survivors of the old Nanyang port, the emperor and his ministers gathered together on the deserted island, organized the army, built strong boats, opened ports for trade, and rebuilt the embryonic form of political power on the East China Sea. After that, he intensified his troops, launched an expedition to the north, repeatedly confronted the Yuan army on the sea frontier, regained Quanzhou, pacified Guangdong and Guangxi, paid tribute to the loyal souls of Yashan, and finally sent his troops to cross the Huaihe River, manage Nanyang, and all the way to the beacon smoke of Jingxiang and the final settlement of the world. The title of the book "Ji Song" refers to the remaining lineage of the Song Dynasty at the end of the season - the last line of fire in the dynasty that was about to die, but was renewed in a desperate situation and opened a new game. The work is based on the solid historical facts of the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and takes "protecting people, roots, and cultural context" as its soul. It is not about the restoration of a family or a family, but about the pain of cutting off the roots of "there is no China after Yashan", a modern man and a being.
