Legends of the Immortals and Heroes

Heaven and earth are the furnace; creation is the craftsman.

Ten thousand years ago, nine immortal sects used nine immortal artifacts to seal the Fiend Clan beneath the Nine Hells. History remembers it as the Battle of the Seal.

Ten thousand years later, the seal begins to weaken. Fiendish energy spills into the mortal world, and strange events erupt everywhere.

Gu Qingfeng, a disciple of Shangqing Temple, wakes one night to find his entire sect slaughtered, with only him left alive. A mysterious gray mark appears on his wrist.

Armed with his green-edged sword and a burning green lantern, he descends the mountain to uncover the truth.

The white-robed Du Xueshang follows him like a shadow, seeming at times an enemy and at times an ally.

The old Daoist swordsman Yan Chixia dozes drunkenly through the martial world, keeping his distance while never quite leaving.

As Gu Qingfeng investigates step by step, he discovers that the massacre was only the beginning.

His origins, the gray mark on his wrist, the secrets of the green lantern, an ancient deception...

What, exactly, has been sealed away for all these millennia?

His green-edged sword can ferry countless souls across, but it cannot ferry them beyond...
