Sheng Yan, a prodigy of White Dragon Mountain, is famed throughout the martial world for her peerless hereditary martial arts.
One day, she is ambushed, and a poisoned dart lodges in her body, its venom lying dormant in her meridians.
Whenever she channels her inner strength, her body suddenly stiffens, keeping her from unleashing the full extent of her abilities.
Imprisoned in a dungeon and trapped in enemy territory, the once-celebrated darling of the heavens has become a prisoner.
With a hidden needle, she picks the lock and slips into the night, risking her broken body for the slimmest chance of survival.
If she can’t escape, she’ll endure. If she can’t win, she’ll wait.
Even in the depths of despair, her pride remains unbroken.
When the poison disperses and her body is free of its stiffness, watch her rise again with a blade in hand, sweep away the darkness of the Black Nether Hall, and restore White Dragon Mountain’s glory.
