The Day Is Mediocre, the Night Weaves a Web of Sin

Lu Chen, of the Municipal Bureau's Criminal Investigation Detachment, is the most inconspicuous ordinary investigator in the world. He has a gentle personality and does not fight for anything. Everyone thinks that he is mediocre, down-to-earth and lacks edge. No one knows that whenever night falls, he turns into a secret evidence collector, wandering between the light and darkness of the city, specializing in investigating the gray and black assets hidden in the cracks of people's livelihood. Teaming up with registered informant Su Xiao and reformed technical master Chen Ye, he dug deep, consolidated the evidence, and weaved a skynet covering the crime. All evidence is sealed in duplicate and delivered simultaneously to the public security anonymous evidence box and the official media supervision box. No overstepping of authority, no lynching, just handing over irrefutable evidence and waiting for justice to be delivered.
