The Esteemed Physician

A modern Chinese medicine practitioner accidentally wanders into a small farmhouse in ancient times and becomes a genuine village girl.

With her medical skills and modern knowledge, she gradually transforms herself, becoming a doctor praised by everyone in the village.

She would have been happy to live that way for the rest of her life, but then an accident brings her face-to-face with the father she had never met. And he turns out to be a high-ranking official in the capital?

She somehow becomes an official’s daughter whom everyone in the capital laughs at. No matter. You may be the legitimate young lady, but I couldn’t care less. I have my medical skills and strange animals to rely on. Why should I fear your so-called young masters and ladies?

Watch how Shen Ya makes her way among the great families of ancient times, living high on the hog with her mother and younger brother.
