Jinyi's Investigation

In the middle of the Dajing period, the imperial court was intertwined, the powerful were covering up the law, and countless unjust cases were sealed under yellowed files. Lu Xun, the orphan of a guilty minister, was a humble commander-in-chief of Fusi in Beizhen. Ten years ago, his father went to the execution ground for the crime of collaborating with the enemy. The old case was listed as a taboo for both the government and the public. If he touched it, he would confiscate his family and exterminate his family. He is burdened with a stigma and has to survive through cracks. His ability to investigate and solve cases is the only way he can survive. A strange case of killing a wealthy family suddenly broke out, and the people who died were all closely related to the old prison ten years ago. Insiders died one after another, evidence was tampered with, and forces from all sides set up a dead end, but Lu Xun was dragged into this fatal puzzle. The boss of Dongchang is setting up the situation step by step, the civil servants and gangsters are secretly restricting the situation, and the people inside Jinyiwei are also unpredictable. He has no overwhelming power, no adventure from the sky, only a pair of eyes that can see through fakes, and a perfect chain of evidence to discern good and evil among the mountains of swords and trees. What we are investigating is a murder case, what we are breaking is the snare woven by the system; what we are looking for is the truth, and what we are fighting is the fate that has already been written. The brocade clothes are stained with blood, not to follow the trend of inflammation, but just to allow those who have been wronged in the world to see an inch of light.
