In 2026, the entire territory of China, together with two million troops, mysteriously descended on the territory of the Qing Empire in 1885. There is no power grid, no fuel, just 1.4 Billion mouths waiting for teeth. Outside the city of Baoding, where people were dying of hunger, modern soldier Li Zhenguo faced not the powerful ships and artillery of the great powers, but tens of thousands of pairs of eyes that were green from hunger. When the torrent of steel runs out of food, this newly awakened dragon must strangle the greedy Qing court to death while snatching food from the famine tiger's mouth in the sea of blood and corpses of the old era. This is a war for survival and a hard landing for civilization.
