My new novel, Daily Life of an Ancient Lord’s Estate, is now available. Please add it to your reading list.
A leisurely path of cultivation, with immortality in its sights.
At first, Chu Yu thought she had transmigrated into an ancient-era family-intrigue story. All she could think about was growing up quickly, getting married, then losing her husband and being left alone. Perfect.
But once she stepped out of the rear courtyard, she realized this was a cultivation novel about a gifted female protagonist.
First, her eldest sister was a peerless talent with a portable immortal estate. Then there was her second sister, Captain Chu, who seemed to have come from the same world as her and had been born into this one with a golden finger.
As the cannon-fodder little sister, with poor aptitude and a shortened lifespan, Chu Yu refused to lie flat and let people mock her!
She had to cultivate! Become immortal!
She would strive to live until the end of time, with a lifespan as long as the Black Tortoise’s.
Thankfully, she had saved up a cultivation manual that could train automatically. Thankfully, she could sell goods across every plane and accumulate resources. And thankfully, she had two devoted sisters who never abandoned her or complained that she consumed resources like a gluttonous beast.
The path of cultivation is merciless. Countless brilliant talents fall along the way, but the three of us sisters want to see the view from the very highest point of the immortal path.
(As far as I can tell, there’s no romance. Three sisters cultivate together, with no infighting. The heroine may be a good-for-nothing when it comes to aptitude, but her life isn’t miserable. She’s simply rushing around nonstop to gather resources. That’s just how you start from nothing.)
P.S. This isn’t a conventional cultivation novel. It combines many elements and focuses on cultivating both the body and the heart. The author likes writing details, so don’t read it if that bothers you. Reading should be fun, so if it’s not to your taste, run! It’s painful when the flavors don’t agree with you.
