Li Qi transmigrates into the world of Swallowed Star. If he could, of course he'd want to latch onto the protagonist, Luo Feng. But all he knows is that his planet belongs to the Molten Rock Empire; he knows nothing else.
Fortunately, he has an astonishing talent for Law Comprehension, and a fortuitous encounter gave him an initial gene multiplier of 32. These let him rise from an ordinary cultivation planet in the Molten Rock Empire to the stage of the Universe Peak Genius Battle.
It was then that he discovered that this version of Swallowed Star wasn't quite like the one he remembered.
"What? Humanity has 1,004 Universe Countries!"
"What? The strongest contestant in this Universe Peak Genius Battle is named Kedi!"
Only then did Li Qi realize that he had transmigrated too far into the past. At this point in time, Luo Feng's teacher, True Yan King, hadn't even been born.
Transmigrated too far into the past?
No problem!
Li Qi says he has an inheritance, and it's even more powerful than Luo Feng's. He is destined to stand above the God Kings!
(Note: The protagonist has talent and an inheritance, and has only read Swallowed Star! Only read Swallowed Star! Only read Swallowed Star! Important, so it's said three times.
(The protagonist's cheat updates in Chaos City. He'll also have clones later on. And don't treat the protagonist like a typical transmigrator.)
