The Divine Path prizes the soul and disregards the body. Its practitioners are appointed by the Divine Court and become gods through the power of worship, but must serve in their assigned divine offices under the Court’s control.
The Earth Immortal Path combines a fragmentary inheritance from the Earth Immortal Zhenyuan with the legacy of the Wu Clan. Its practitioners establish paradises and blessed lands as the foundation of their path, while also cultivating the body. Yet they are bound by those very lands, prisoners within their own walls.
The Qi Refining Path gives equal weight to the body, the primordial spirit, and magical power. Those who attain the Dao can roam freely between heaven and earth, but must face trial after trial from the heavens, and few ever succeed.
Liu Yuanchen is reborn in the Spirit Realm. With the inheritance of the Earth Immortal Zhenyuan, he establishes paradises and blessed lands without being bound by them, roaming freely throughout the cosmos.
