Zhang Yan, a modern-day mercenary, unexpectedly returned to the war-torn Three Kingdoms era. He drove Cao Cao away on Tao Qian’s behalf, stole Liu Bei’s wife, and then took Tao Qian’s place as well, establishing his own power in Xu Province.
Zhang Yan recruited fierce generals and talented advisers, and formed an iron-blooded cavalry. He drove out Cao Cao, chased off Liu Bei, fought Lü Bu, toyed with Yuan Shao, and destroyed Yuan Shu, vying for supremacy across the land.
He seized the Son of Heaven, pacified Hebei, brought order to Guanzhong, campaigned south of the Yangtze, conquered Bashu, and marched into Xiliang. His iron-blooded cavalry was invincible, dominating the Three Kingdoms era.
