In the Age of Declining Dharma, cultivation is difficult. Jiang Le is an ordinary student whose childhood head injury left his memories incomplete, but by chance he merges with a fragment of the ancient immortal treasure, the Fallen Treasure Money.
He enters the Daoist sect and studies under Mao Xiaofang. Using the Fallen Treasure Money's powers, he manages to carve out a sacred cultivation ground in this Age of Declining Dharma.
On the day he attains the Dao, golden flowers descend from heaven and golden lotuses spring from the earth. Jiang Le sits cross-legged in the void, looking down upon all living beings:
“Today, I have attained the Dao and founded the Pure Yang Daoist Academy. Anyone with a heart set on the Dao, whether human, demon, monster, or ghost, is welcome to come and study.”
