As a time traveler, Lanze's biggest golden finger is not that he can copy the abilities of all creatures, but that as long as he introduces a movie series, he can have a corresponding ability template.
The biggest feature of templates is that one template has a life, and it can perfectly integrate all the capabilities of loading the template.
Imagine taking Smaug from The Lord of the Rings as the main body, coupled with Superman's Kryptonian physique, Ant-Man's hundred-fold expansion, Hulk's enhanced anger, Flash's super-light speed, Wolverine's recovery speed, any superhero is bullshit. As long as there is the strongest creature in the world, it must be me!
