After transmigrating into The Boys, I became the real villain, Homelander. Needless to say, I wasn't happy about it.
But I soon discovered that my talents had proficiency levels. Maxing them out let me upgrade them and even unlock new talents.
【Your “Laser Eyes” proficiency is maxed out.】
【Upgrading to “Laser Eyes +1.”】
【Laser Eyes +1: Cutting power +50%, penetration +20%, overall power +35%.】
【Your “Steel Body” proficiency is maxed out.】
【Upgrading to “Steel Body +1.”】
【Upgrading “Steel Body” has unlocked a new talent: “Regeneration.”】
【Regeneration: Wounds heal 300% faster.】
Now that's more like it. Once I've leveled up a few times, let's see who still dares call me a knockoff Superman!
With absolute power, I can do whatever I want.
“I think he's changed. He's not such a jerk anymore. Especially that day when he took me up into the sky by force. God, it was the most thrilling and romantic night of my life.” Queen Maeve.
“Don't defy Homelander. Vice President Madelyn is a living example of what happens. I'll never forget that day.” Ashley.
“Homelander is the fairest, most righteous superhero I've ever met. He got Robin and me justice. Yes, he killed Translucent. He's my idol!” Hughie.
