[What do you think of Nan Ling?]
Conan (half-lidded eyes): “A troublemaker with a bizarre sense of humor... But he’s pretty reliable when it counts.” (muttering)
Ai Haibara (trembling): “That person... has the Organization’s aura about him.”
Shuichi Akai: “He’s a little suspicious, but I suppose he’s a good person.”
Gin/Rei Furuya: “Who’s that?”
[Then what do you think of Qi?]
Conan: “An underground doctor connected to the Organization. He’s not a good person.”
Ai Haibara: “Big Brother Qi? He’s a good person, even if he acts cold on the outside.”
Shuichi Akai: “He keeps saying he has nothing to do with the Organization, but for some reason I just can’t believe him.”
Rei Furuya: “He... is someone who lives in darkness but yearns for the light.”
Gin: “Hmph. Chat’s secret identity.”
[Then... what about Chat?]
Conan (indignant): “The Black Organization’s lapdog! I’ll catch him, I swear!”
Ai Haibara (gritting her teeth): “He killed my sister in such a cruel way. I’ll never forgive him!”
Rei Furuya: “I can’t figure him out, but we’re accomplices too.” (smiling)
Shuichi Akai: “I don’t know where he truly stands, but... he sure holds a grudge.” (resigned)
Gin (frowning): “He’s highly capable and trustworthy, but his personality is terrible.”
[One last question for the man himself?]
Nan Ling: “As an experimental subject who was only just released from the Organization, I didn’t want to go around causing trouble either. I just wanted to laze about... Well, at first.” (smiles delightedly)
