I staged my own death to escape, sending a shipload of companions to their watery graves so I could clear my name as a pirate.
I deceived Helmeppo, using a scene of father and son turning against each other to bring Marine Branch 153 under my thumb. From then on, my hidden tendrils spread across the entire East Blue.
Step by step, I climbed to the very top of the Marines. When I looked back, I had given this sea an entirely new hue.
I am Arlin. I brought the pirates to ruin with my own hands, and I personally sent the Marines to their graves beneath the waves!
I am Arlin, the voice of the Hivemind, the only voice in these seas!
