Upon waking, Zhu Zhanjun finds himself the grandson of the Yongle Emperor and the nonexistent son of Emperor Renzong, Zhu Gaochi. He also acquires a farm space.
There’s a farmhand working the fields in the space, and he turns out to be Zhu Yuanzhang, who has already passed away.
Well, this is going to be fun.
One day, Zhu Zhanjun goes to see Zhu Di and pays his respects with a grand bow.
Seeing Zhu Di sitting calmly on the dragon throne and accepting the bow, Zhu Yuanzhang waves his hoe in the space and roars indignantly, “This is completely backwards! I’m his father, and now I’m indirectly bowing to that rebellious son!”
“Brat, get up! I’m ordering you as the founding emperor: go slap that rebellious son across the face twice!”
Zhu Zhanjun: ???
As the farm space expands, more and more people come to work Zhu Zhanjun’s fields, and they’re all people he knows well.
Empress Ma raises silkworms, Zhu Biao herds cattle, Zhu Xiongying tends ducks, and Zhu Yunwen raises chickens...
Then one day, Zhu Di dies and arrives at the farm space, where Zhu Yuanzhang and the others immediately surround him.
Old Zhu takes off his boot and pats Zhu Di on the head with a beaming smile. “Fourth Son, I’ve been waiting for you so long I could barely keep my eyes open. At last, you’re here!”
He raises his boot and roars, “Rebellious son, don’t run! Take this boot!”
