After dying, Xia Mu found himself in the world beyond.
When he opened his eyes, he saw an endless desert beneath a pale moon hanging in the sky.
Then a white monster attacked him.
Just as Xia Mu thought he was about to die, a figure dressed in black and wielding a long sword appeared and defeated the monster.
Everything seemed to be looking up.
But then an even bigger monster showed up. Before Xia Mu could even ask the man who had saved him his name, the man was dead.
To survive, Xia Mu had no choice but to pick up the sword the man had left behind and fight.
He had no idea that the moment he took hold of that sword, he had become a Soul Reaper!
