In 2120, wildfires and locust plagues ravaged the world, grass grew on Mount Everest, and Antarctica turned blood-red!
In 2140, a mysterious sea of blood spread from Antarctica, engulfing the four oceans in just three years!
That same year, countless monsters born from the blood sea came ashore on Australia’s southern coast. From then on, Earth became a slaughterhouse!
“Evolve for the rise of humanity!”
Forty years later, high school student Chen Pingping woke from his nap. Hearing the slogan on the news, he was utterly stunned.
“That slogan sounds ancient... How long ago was this?”
“Evolve? What nonsense. It’s devolution! Humanity had already reached its peak when it evolved intelligence!”
“You have no idea how many eons it took us to evolve from the mindless ancient gods and demons into intelligent humans!”
“From now on, let’s all devolve together and reclaim every last bit of power left behind in the passage of time!”
