Shinguji Hikaru joins Seigaku as its “General.” Before dealing with outside threats, he must first set things right at home. To win the championship, he has to overthrow the unreasonable rules and system.
Coach Ryuzaki: First-years have to work on their fundamentals! Start by picking up balls!
Shinguji Hikaru looks at the sorry excuse for a starting lineup and sneers. “This is what a whole year of training gets you?”
Coach Ryuzaki: First-years are inferior to the second- and third-years in both mental fortitude and physical strength!
Shinguji Hikaru scoffs. “I've won more championships than there are starters on this team, and you say I lack mental fortitude? That I'm weak? What do I need physical strength for if I can't win at tennis? To fight?”
Coach Ryuzaki: I'm Seigaku's coach!
Shinguji Hikaru shrugs. “Sure, but from now on, I'm in charge of the tennis club!
Who agrees? Who objects?”
