A Wife’s Worth

She was meant to be a jade phoenix soaring above the ninth heaven,

but just as she was about to take flight, her wings were broken.

A dream spanning twenty years.

When she rises from the ashes, reborn,

and faces the people from her past life one after another,

all she wants to say is:

Give me back what you took from me. Spit out what you ate. Pay back tenfold what you owe me! Scrub, scrub, scrub!

Ahem. You there, why do you keep following me? Don't think that wagging your tail will get you a meaty bone!
