Reborn in the world of The King of Fighters, Li Ye starts off with Iori Yagami stealing the Yasakani no Magatama from him, costing him his power of the Azure Flame. Li Ye can only say he is seriously screwed.
Fortunately, a Treasure-Digging System appears, giving him one treasure map every day. Digging up treasures earns him all kinds of rewards.
“Ding-dong... Your treasure map has arrived...”
“Ding-dong... Dig successful. You found a talent: Herculean Arms...”
“Ding-dong... Dig successful. You found a special move: Flowing Water Circle...”
“Ding-dong... Dig successful. You found a combat technique: Underhanded Fighting...”
“Ding-dong... Dig failed. You have attracted the battle guard, Mai Shiranui...”
As time goes by, Li Ye grows stronger and stronger.
But the things he digs up seem to get stranger and stranger...
