For countless epochs, the gods have been living in the Kingdom of God, using all living beings as chess pieces and watching the fight between the chess pieces. However, have the gods ever thought that one day they would become pawns?
During the period known as the Twilight Age by later generations, due to the fluctuations in the laws of the main plane, the gods who were parasitic on the laws of the plane were forced to leave the Kingdom of God and descend to the material world. Having lost their immortality and the support of the infinite divine power of the Kingdom of God, they instead became prey. At the same time, the law fluctuations also caused the plane barrier to break, and various visitors from other worlds also joined the hunt. During this chaotic period, some old gods died, and there were also mortals who stepped on the bones of the old gods to ascend to the throne of God.
Sissel, who was a legendary bard in his previous life, came to this chaotic land and started his legendary path again.
